Eric Benzel

Eric Benzel currently serves as the Vice President of Academic Program and Student Services at DSST Public Schools, a position held since July 2020. Previously, Eric held various roles at Relay Graduate School of Education, including Assistant Professor of Practice and Senior Instructional Fellow from August 2016 to August 2020. Earlier experiences include serving as Master Teacher, Network Course Lead, and Department Chair at DSST Public Schools from July 2015 to July 2018, as well as Math Teacher and Ed Tech Lead at Prospect Schools from July 2013 to June 2015. Eric began a career in education as the Founding Math Teacher at New Visions Charter High School for Advanced Math and Science from June 2011 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
