Margarita Colindres

Margarita Colindres serves as the Multilingual Education Program Senior Manager at DSST Public Schools since July 2022, focusing on creating inclusive educational systems for culturally and linguistically diverse students. Prior experience includes roles as a Secondary Multilingual Education Partner and Teacher Effectiveness Coach at Denver Public Schools from June 2012 to October 2022, and as an ELA Administrator and Instructional Coach at RiseUp Community School from June 2015 to May 2018. Margarita also held the position of Senior Consultant for the Office of Equity, Language and Instruction at the Colorado Department of Education between January 2008 and May 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Equity in Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University.
