Declan Toomey, CMILT, currently serves as General Manager for DSV - Global Transport and Logistics since October 2025, overseeing contract logistics in Cork and Shannon. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at DB Schenker from July 2004 to October 2025, where responsibilities encompassed Regional Operations & Customer Management for Contract Logistics and branch management with full profit and loss accountability for the Cork branch, leading a team of over 50. Previous roles include Branch Manager and Ocean Product Manager at Kuehne + Nagel from March 2000 to July 2004, and District Manager at Expeditors International from November 1992 to March 2000. Declan Toomey holds a degree in Supply Chain from CILT (2003-2005) and has completed secondary education at Abbey CBS in Tipperary Town and Christian Brothers in Tipperary.
