Marja van Dieijen-Visser

Marja Van Dieijen-Visser is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance. Currently serving as an Auditor for NVZD since October 2022, Van Dieijen-Visser also holds positions as a member of the supervisory board at Amsterdam UMC and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, as well as a member of the supervisory board of DSW Zorgverzekeraar. From 1993 to October 2020, Van Dieijen-Visser was the CEO of Maastricht UMC+, overseeing a large institution with 7500 FTE and an annual revenue of 850 million euros. Additional roles include leading the medical staff assembly at Ciro, and various board positions at organizations such as Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus BV and Adelante Zorggroep. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Leiden University, and a PhD from Maastricht University, complemented by governance training from the Governance Academy.
