Colin Adams

Colin Adams serves as Vice President of Asia Pacific at Cardno International Development since January 2017, leading the delivery of approximately AUD 1 billion in development projects for notable clients such as DFAT, the ADB, and the World Bank across 15 countries. Prior to this role, Colin owned Standing Wave Limited, an advisory firm specializing in social risk management, and held managerial positions including at Gryphon Min, where Colin focused on environmental and social responsibility for mining projects. Previous experience includes directorship at Cardno Emerging Markets Region, association with Argo Pacific, and general management of AGL's South American operations. Colin's early career involved trade commissioner roles for the Australian Trade Commission and various positions within the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Educational qualifications include an MA in International Management Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas, an MBA from Deakin University, and a BA (Hons) in Political Science from The Australian National University.
