Cara Gettridge is the current Senior Director of Human Resources at DT Global. Cara has over fifteen years of experience in human resources and operations management. Gettridge began their career at USAID in May 2005 as a Deputy Chief in the Operations & Management division. In this role, they oversaw five teams with over 30 employees in two locations, overseeing personnel governance, workforce planning, and general office functions. Gettridge was also responsible for leading the staff development and influencing complex situations to mitigate negative impact on the organization.
In March 2018, Gettridge was promoted to Acting Chief of Operations and Management at OTI. In this role, they were responsible for leading 8 teams encompassing 50+ employees providing a range of administrative operations services. Gettridge was also responsible for ensuring quality customer service and rapid response for staff based in Washington and around the world.
Gettridge has been instrumental in improving staff morale and overall engagement through rigorous data collection and analysis to improve communication protocols and inter-divisional contention. Cara has also developed, expanded, and restructured the human resources team over the span of their career to adapt to internal changes and growth, improving staff engagement and workload balance. In addition, Gettridge has implemented a robust performance management program, leading staff development and influencing complex situations to mitigate negative impact on the organization.
Cara Gettridge has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Cara is certified by the Defense Acquisition University as a Contracting Officer's Representatives Level II, by CAJe as a CAJe Job Classification Certification, and by USAID as a Certified Human Resources Professional. Cara has also completed Federal Executive Institute Leadership Training and Human Resources Management Training from the Foreign Service Institute.

They are on a team with Alexandra Frank - Director of Communications, Jaleen Moroney - President, Cardno International Development, and Dicky Dooradi - Director of Operations.
