Ömer Onur Ateş has a diverse work experience in engineering and project finance. Ömer Onur co-founded Corvus Composites in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at D&T Group Engineering and Contracting Co. since 2013, starting as a mechanical site engineer intern and eventually becoming the Test and Commissioning Manager. In this role, they gained experience in HVAC and Plumbing Systems. At D&T Group, Ömer was also responsible for managing project finance and generating monthly budget reports. Before joining D&T Group, they had an internship at Daikin Turkey in 2012, where they worked on manufacturing process optimization.
Ömer Onur Ateş completed their education with a Diploma in Science & Math from St. Georg Avusturya Lisesi in the years 2004 to 2009. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Makine Mühendisliği (Mechanical Engineering) at Koç University from 2009 to 2014. Most recently, they obtained a Master's Degree in International Business, specifically a Master of Science in International Business, from IÉSEG School of Management between 2016 and 2017.
