Mohamad Hallal

Mohamad Hallal's work experience began in 2010 as an intern at Kuwait Telecommunication Company- VIVA. In 2013, they joined Namshi.com as a Junior Software Engineer and later became a Software Engineer. At Namshi.com, they were responsible for building and maintaining backend applications and utilizing PHP and Symfony2 Framework for RESTful API development.

In 2014, Mohamad joined DT One as a Technical Operations Engineer, where they oversaw technical aspects of the business, conducted VPN setups, and performed technical support duties. Mohamad then moved on to the role of Solutions Delivery Manager for the Middle East and Africa, leading project implementations across DT One's networks.

In 2019, Mohamad became the Head of Research and Development at DT One, leading a team of engineers in revamping legacy platforms and designing innovative products. Mohamad'smost recent role was as the Head of Engineering, where they led an Agile team in developing and launching DT One's SaaS platform.

Mohamad Hallal completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah in the years 2008-2012. In 2016, they enrolled in the University of Wollongong in Dubai for a Master of Information Technology Management degree, in the field of Information Technology Project Management.

Mohamad Hallal has also obtained several certifications, including Applied Data Engineering and Architect from WeCloudData (expected in 2023), the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (completed in 2020), the Oxford Fintech Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (completed in 2018), and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (obtained in September 2020).
