Alan McCann

Alan McCann has extensive experience in tax consultancy and dispute resolution, having served as the Head of Tax Dispute Resolution at DTE Business Advisers Ltd since February 2000, where responsibilities include assisting businesses of all sizes in resolving issues with HM Revenue and Customs and providing support to accountancy practices across the UK. Prior to this role, Alan held the position of Senior Tax Manager at BDO Stoy Hayward in Manchester from 1979 to 2000. Alan completed education at Stretford Grammar School for Boys between 1969 and 1974. Alan retired in September 2022.
