Alex Gutierrez

Alex Gutierrez has over two decades of experience in community engagement, currently serving as Supervisor of Community Outreach at DTE Energy since September 1999. In this role, Alex focuses on collaborating with community organizations and leaders to connect low-income customers with utility assistance programs to prevent service interruptions. Previous experience includes a supervisory and translation role at the Detroit Community Health Connection from August 1998 to September 1999 and service as a Soldier in the US Army from June 1993 to April 1998. Alex has pursued various educational opportunities across multiple institutions, culminating in a High School Diploma from John Marshall High School.
