Douglas Ayers

Douglas Ayers brings extensive experience in operations and engineering, currently serving as Director of Operations at DTE Energy since July 2010, where responsibilities include upgrading landfill and dairy biogas into renewable natural gas and managing electricity generation from landfill gas. Prior roles at DTE Energy include Director of Technical Services, General Manager for Renewable Energy Projects in California, and Continuous Improvement Manager, where focus was placed on project management and technical support. Experience also includes positions at Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance as Business Development Manager and Operations Manager, and various roles at Visteon and Ford Motor Company. Douglas holds a Master of Science in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
