Tom Constand

Tom Constand is a Senior Engineer at DTE Energy, focusing on the Center of Excellence in Business Planning and Development since October 2022, and previously served as a Staff Engineer in Distribution Operations. Prior to this, Tom gained extensive experience as an Industrial Engineer and Project Manager at Comau, where responsibilities included managing the Energy Monitoring System project and leading a team of over 150 union employees as a Manufacturing Supervisor. Earlier roles included an Industrial Engineering Intern at DTE Energy and Dana Incorporated, where Tom honed skills in data analysis, engineering processes, and project management. Tom also has a background as a professional baseball player in the United Shore Professional Baseball League. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University (2021-2025) and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University (2018-2019).
