Noel Miranda

IT Specialist at DTiQ

Noel Miranda has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Noel began their career as a GIS Specialist at The National Land Institute (INTI) from May 2005 to June 2010, where they developed various web pages and implemented GIS technology. Noel then moved on to PDVSA Gas in Caracas, Venezuela, working as a Planning GIS Specialist from July 2010 to August 2016. In this role, Noel provided planning support and analysis for LPG distribution activities, conducted geodatabase analysis, and performed trend analysis using ESRI technology.

Following this, Noel worked as a Spanish Teacher at BRITANNIA - Szkoła Języków Obcych from April 2016 to July 2019. Noel taught Spanish to students during this time. In 2019, Noel took on the role of IT Specialist at TÜV Rheinland Europe, where they provided IT support to vehicle control centers.

Currently, Noel is an IT Specialist at DTiQ since December 2019. In this position, their responsibilities include installing and integrating security cameras with cash registers in fast food restaurants such as McDonald's, Burger King, and Dunkin Donuts, as well as deploying geographic information systems through the web.

Throughout their career, Noel has demonstrated their expertise in GIS technology, spatial analysis, IT support, and teaching.

Noel Miranda has a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Silesia in Katowice, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Girona from 2011 to 2013. Noel also holds a Degree in Geography from Universidad Central de Venezuela, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, Noel has obtained various certifications, including Data Visualization D3.js, Front End Libraries, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures, Responsive Web Design, and the Google Developer Challenge Scholarship. These certifications were earned from different institutions such as freeCodeCamp and Udemy between 2018 and 2019.
