Steve Habermas has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steve is currently the Chief Product & Technology Officer at DTiQ, where they lead the product management and R&D teams. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at SmartSense by Digi, overseeing the implementation of IoT solutions. Steve has also worked as the Vice President of Engineering at LenelS2 / S2 Security Corporation, where they led a team responsible for physical access control and video management system products. Before that, they founded VeriLync Capital Solutions, LLC, a company focused on providing financing solutions to businesses. Steve has also held leadership positions at Aptus Health, Verivo, Axeda Corporation, Tele Atlas, OnStar, and the United States Navy, where they served as a Submarine Watch Officer. Throughout their career, Steve has been instrumental in transforming engineering and product management functions, implementing Agile processes, and driving innovation in the technology industry.

Steve Habermas has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and business. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 1994.

To enhance their business acumen, Steve enrolled in the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they completed from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Steve Habermas has also obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2020, demonstrating their proficiency in implementing Agile methodologies in complex organizations.
