David Berry

David Berry is a seasoned meteorologist and aviation solutions expert with extensive experience in weather risk communication and management. Currently serving as a Weather Risk Communicator at DTN since August 2020, David provides critical risk intelligence and planning to major international and domestic airports and airlines, enhancing responses to severe weather events. Prior to this role, David held positions at DTN as a Senior Meteorologist and Aviation Solutions Engineer, leveraging expertise in aviation weather offerings and project management. His previous experience includes a leadership role as Senior Meteorologist/Team Lead at Qantas, where David managed a meteorological team and established key stakeholder relationships, as well as serving in the Royal New Zealand Navy and Watercare Services Limited. David holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Meteorology from the Bureau of Meteorology and a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of Auckland.
