Floris Bijlsma

Floris Bijlsma is a senior meteorological researcher at DTN, where they engage in data analysis and solve meteorological questions while setting up and maintaining operational processes. They have extensive experience in statistical post-processing of meteorological data and the implementation of meteorological models, including the operational WRF model. Floris holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from Wageningen University and previously served as an adjunct lecturer at the same institution, while also working at MeteoGroup since 2002. In their work, they apply a combination of statistical techniques and physical solutions to enhance weather forecasts and data interpretation.
