Jeremy Berman is an experienced Atmospheric Data Scientist and NWP Specialist with a robust background in weather modeling and prediction. Currently at DTN since June 2020, Jeremy has configured AWS parallel clusters for conducting extensive WRF simulations tailored to various industries including agriculture and aviation, and developed a machine learning workflow to predict power outages. Previous roles include Senior Atmospheric Data Scientist at ClimaCell, where Jeremy engineered automated software for weather forecast validation and created advanced hyperlocal forecasting models. With experience as an ASP Research Scientist at NCAR and roles focusing on risk assessment in extreme weather at Riskpulse, Jeremy has a strong foundation in meteorological research, demonstrated through a Ph.D. from the University at Albany and a B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Miami.
