Jim Foerster

Jim Foerster, CCM has a diverse work experience in the field of meteorology. Jim has worked at DTN twice, first as a Staff Meteorologist from 1983 to 2003, then as Director of Meteorological Operations from 2003 to 2008, and later as National Sales Director from 2008 to 2010. Jim then joined Schneider Electric as Senior Director of Product Management from 2010 to 2016, and later as Director of Meteorology Services from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Jim is Chief Meteorologist at DTN since March 2020.

Jim Foerster, CCM obtained a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the period of 1979-1983. Jim also holds certifications as a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) from the American Meteorological Society, and a D License from the U.S. Soccer Federation.
