Kristin Haugen

Kristin Haugen has over 18 years of work experience in various meteorology and weather operations roles. Kristin is currently the Global Director of Weather Operations at DTN, where they have been employed since 2017. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Weather Operations and Manager of Meteorology Operations at DTN. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Energy Team Lead - Meteorologist at DTN and Schneider Electric. Additionally, they served as an Energy Team Lead/Meteorologist at Telvent DTN and worked as a Meteorologist/Supervisor at Weatherbank Inc. Outside of their meteorology career, Kristen also contributed as an 18U Coach and Catching Coach at Minnesota Rebels Fastpitch from 2007 to 2017.

Kristin Haugen studied Meteorology at the University of Northern Colorado from 1998 to 2003, focusing on Earth Science with an emphasis in Meteorology.
