LaShawnda Walker

LaShawnda Walker's work experience includes roles as a Senior Project Manager at DTSV, Inc. since August 2022, where they have developed and implemented standard operating procedures for knowledge management, designed intake forms and a SharePoint website to streamline the project initiation process, and implemented document storage practices with the PMO. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager - Intermediate at DTSV, Inc. from August 2021 to July 2022, where they provided mission support, coordinated with stakeholders, and updated training rosters. Before joining DTSV, Inc., they served as a Project Manager-Intermediate at Alutiiq, LLC from April 2020 to August 2021, where they provided mission support, coordinated with stakeholders, and updated training rosters. LaShawnda also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Lewis-Price & Associates, Inc from September 2018 to March 2020, where they acted as a liaison between upper management and senior leadership, provided support to the Information Manager Coordinator, and conducted records retention audits. Prior to that, they worked at PAE as a Document Management Analyst II from November 2017 to August 2018, and as a Document Management Analyst I from July 2016 to October 2017. LaShawnda Walker completed their education at the University of Maryland from 2014 to 2016 where they obtained a degree in Family Science. LaShawnda previously attended Montgomery College from 2011 to 2013 and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. In addition to their formal education, LaShawnda obtained certifications including Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in February 2023. Additionally, in February 2015, they completed an independent study course on emergency management, specifically FEMA/ Emergency Management Institute IS-00800.b and IS-00001.a.
