Erling Stenby is a distinguished academic and industry leader with a career spanning several decades at the Technical University of Denmark, where Stenby serves as Head of the Department of Chemistry and holds the title of Professor specializing in Applied Thermodynamics related to energy resources engineering. As Director of the Center for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE), Stenby oversees multidisciplinary research initiatives in oil, gas, carbon capture and storage, geothermal energy, and more.
