Ole Winther

Ole Winther is a distinguished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in bioinformatics and genomic medicine. Currently serving as Chief Research Officer and Chief Technology Officer at raffle.ai since August 2018, Ole is also a Professor MSO in Genomic Bioinformatics at the Technical University of Denmark and the University of Copenhagen. Ole has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor and Research Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, as well as Group Leader at the Bioinformatics Centre at the University of Copenhagen. In addition to academic responsibilities, Ole is the founder and researcher at FindZebra, a platform aimed at assisting in the diagnosis of challenging medical cases. Ole's academic journey began with a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen after completing undergraduate studies there from 1986 to 1996.
