Tim McAloone

Tim McAloone is a Professor of Product/Service-Systems at the Technical University of Denmark, with a focus on product life engineering, through-life service engineering, ecodesign, and eco-innovation since June 1998. In addition, Tim has served in various leadership roles within The Design Society, including past-president and board member. As a co-founder of essensus, Tim supports companies in integrating sustainability into their business and innovation processes. A former guest professor at Stanford University, Tim's research interests include sustainable innovation competencies and engineering design future research. Tim holds a PhD in Environmentally Conscious Design from Cranfield University and a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
