Ali Al Awadi, M.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ali began their career at Etisalat in 2003, where they worked as a Cell Planning Engineer. In 2008, they joined du as an Engineer in Terminals & SIM Services and later moved to the Messaging Planning team, where they gained expertise in technical and project management domains. Throughout their time at du, Ali held various positions, including Senior Engineer in Signaling & Messaging, Senior Manager in Signaling & Messaging Planning, and Acting Director in VAS, Signaling, and Roaming Planning. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the Director of Artificial Intelligence and Value Added Services Planning, where they played a key role in developing and implementing AI strategies. Ali's most recent role at du is Vice President and Head of Technology Service Enablement. Currently, they are a VP and Head of Infra Commercial and Business Development at du.
