Charlie Palmer has a diverse work experience spanning industries such as insurance, real estate, and automotive. Charlie currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at DUAL Group, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Hiscox from 2014 to 2020, where they held various roles including Strategy and Operations Manager and Underwriter. Before that, they had a brief stint at Beazley as an Analyst in the Political Contingency Group. Charlie also gained experience in the commercial real estate industry at Knight Frank. Additionally, they completed engineering placements at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd, BMW Group, and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
Charlie Palmer has an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter. Charlie also has a QCF Level 5 degree in Management and Leadership from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Furthermore, they hold A Levels in Maths (A), Physics (A), Economics (A*), and Design (A*) from Radley College. Additionally, they have completed the ACII qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute. Charlie Palmer has furthered their education by obtaining a degree in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
