Jacob Chandapillai

Jacob Chandapillai has over 20 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Chief Accountant Revenue at Dubai Customs since September 2008. In this role, Jacob provides insights on revenue performance, oversees revenue transactions, participates in service costing, and assists in implementing International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). Previously held positions include various senior accountant roles at Dubai Customs, where Jacob was involved in management reporting, budgeting, and analyzing import trade. Earlier experience includes supervisory roles in accounts payable at Carrefour and audit assistance at Philip & Co Chartered Accountants. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and a certification as a Trade and Logistics Professional from Dubai Trade.
