Omar Qushair

Omar Qushair is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution. As Senior Vice President and Vice President Legal at Dubai Holding since September 2017, Omar leads legal operations focused on dispute resolution. Previously, as Chief Legal Officer at TECOM Group Dubai from October 2016 to December 2017, and General Counsel/Board Secretary at Deyaar Development PJSC from October 2011 to October 2016, Omar managed complex legal affairs and provided strategic counsel. Early career highlights include serving as a Legal Advisor/Manager at Murray and Roberts for over 14 years, where responsibilities encompassed all facets of legal and commercial operations across multiple countries in the Middle East. Omar holds a law degree in Civil and Commercial law from Beirut Arab University, earned between 1988 and 1991.
