Sharjil Anwar

Sharjil Anwar is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in senior leadership roles within prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Dubai Holding since June 2018, Sharjil has previously held the same title at Nakheel and also served as CFO Operations and Head of Finance/Deputy CFO at Emaar, The Economic City. With a solid foundation in financial management, project financing, treasury, corporate governance, and risk management, Sharjil's career spans over two decades, including roles at Siemens Limited in various capacities such as Vice President and CFO of Medical Solutions, and Vice President of Corporate Finance and Accounting. Earlier experience includes consulting at Ernst & Young and a financial analyst position at Saudi Cable Company for Marketing. Sharjil holds a CPA certification and degrees in Accountancy from Arizona State University, along with a CGMA designation.
