Shujjah Awan

Shujjah Awan is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in strategic financial leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director Finance at Dubai Holding since October 2020, Shujjah specializes in mergers, acquisitions, and financial planning within the hospitality sector. Previously, as Senior Director Finance at Dubai Holding Hospitality, Shujjah held CFO responsibilities and provided financial stewardship for a large hospitality investment portfolio. Shujjah's prior roles include Group Head of Finance at Meraas, Internal Audit at RasGas, Global Head of Trade Control at Eni Trading & Shipping, Vice President of Finance at Société Générale, and Senior Analyst at bp. Shujjah began a career in audit at EY, demonstrating a strong foundation in audit and assurance. Academically, Shujjah holds ACA and FCA qualifications along with a Bachelor of Science in International Accounting from the University of Northampton.
