Eman AlQemzi currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit for the General Secretariat of the Executive Council in the Government of Dubai since July 2023. In addition, Eman is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation since 2021. Prior experience includes a decade at Dubai Holding, progressing from an Internal Auditor to the Director of Internal Audit, overseeing the entertainment portfolio. Eman started the career at HSBC as an Internal Auditor intern and completed multiple summer internships at the Security Industry Regulatory Agency. Eman holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from the American University of Sharjah and received the Best UAE National Internal Auditor award in 2015.

Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation
In collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The New School’s Parsons School of Design, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) is a private, non-profit university, located at Dubai Design District (d3), accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. With its first intake in 2018, DIDI is focused on nurturing, mentoring and creating the next generation of designers. The curriculum is designed to empower students to map out their own four-year educational journey, culminating in the region’s first Integrated Bachelor of Design degree, with a choice of concentration in the areas of Product Design, Multimedia Design, Fashion Design and Strategic Design Management.
