Asad Mushtaq

Asad Mushtaq, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Debt Capital Markets at Dubai Islamic Bank, a position held since February 2015, leading the DCM function and focusing on maintaining top rankings in Bloomberg's USD International Sukuk and UAE Sukuk league tables. Prior to this role, Asad served as AVP in Debt Capital Markets, where responsibilities included achieving fee revenue targets and supporting investment banking efforts, as well as managing an Independent P&L in a prior position as AVP-Unit Head. Asad's career in finance began as a Relationship Manager at Habib Bank AG Zurich, followed by a role as Senior Relationship Manager at Ajman Bank, where efforts focused on corporate business development and managing substantial asset portfolios. Asad holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration and a BS in Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, currently pursuing a CFA qualification.
