Atif Ali has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Atif began their career at Standard Chartered Bank - Pakistan in 1994, where they served as the Manager of Communications & Networking, overseeing project planning, execution, implementation, and ongoing technical support.

In 1998, Atif Ali joined Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai, where they held various roles. Atif initially worked as the Manager of Customer Implementation & Support - eChannels, managing the successful rollout of the bank's Y2K compliant electronic banking system in the MESA Region. Atif also provided effective customization, installation, training, and support for high net-worth customers.

From 2000 to 2002, Atif Ali served as the Product Development Manager - eChannels & Cash Products for the MESA region, focusing on the development and enhancement of electronic delivery channels and cash products.

In 2002, they took on the role of Regional Head of Solutions Delivery for the MESA region. During their tenure, they successfully launched electronic delivery channels for cash, trade, and collections, which resulted in approximately USD 10 million in direct fee income. Atif also led customer implementations and provided support for eChannels across 10 countries in the MESA region.

In 2006, Atif Ali joined Dubai Islamic Bank as the Head of Cash Management. Atif played a key role in setting up the Cash Management unit within the Corporate Banking department and implemented a marketing strategy for the entire range of Cash Management products. Atif also developed and launched the first Islamic Shariah compliant Trade finance delivery eChannel platform.

In 2012, Atif Ali was promoted to the role of Head of Cash Management & Client Services (Cash & Trade - Sales/Products/Solutions Delivery) at Dubai Islamic Bank, where they continue to contribute to the bank's strategic transaction banking goals.

Atif Ali completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology from 1988 to 1993.
