Fazlan Nizar

Fazlan Nizar is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience at Dubai Islamic Bank since August 2003, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Mid-Market Corporates. Fazlan has a proven track record in managing commercial banking operations across Dubai and Sharjah & NE, overseeing significant deal executions, including multi-million dollar syndicate and project financing transactions. Previously, Fazlan held roles at Dubai Islamic Bank ranging from Vice President & Unit Head to AVP & Team Leader in Corporate Banking, focusing on large local conglomerate relationships and successfully launching new Islamic banking products. Fazlan began a career in finance at Standard Chartered Bank, progressing from Management Trainee to Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking. Fazlan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from Delhi University.
