Shariq Khan

Shariq Khan has a well-rounded work experience in the banking industry. Shariq started their career in 2000 as a Team Leader for Liabilities at American Express bank-RMC, where they trained executives, retained high net worth individuals and corporate clients, and reported to regional heads. Shariq then joined Mashreq Bank in 2006 and held various roles including Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Manager & AVP, and National Sales Manager & VP. At Mashreq Bank, they led sales teams, implemented sales strategies, set targets, and provided product training. From 2016 to 2021, Shariq worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Banque Misr UAE, where they held leadership positions in retail sales and home finance sales. Currently, they are working as the Head of Home Finance Sales at Dubai Islamic Bank since 2022. Overall, Shariq Khan has gained extensive experience in sales management, banking products, team leadership, and achieving sales targets throughout their career.

Shariq Khan completed their Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, and Physics at Aligarh Muslim University from 1995 to 1998. Shariq then pursued a Master's degree in International Business Management at the same university from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications related to digital marketing, leadership, and time management from institutions such as Google Digital Garage and LinkedIn in 2019 and 2020.
