Tarabout Yves

Yves Tarabout has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, holding various managerial roles in renowned companies. Tarabout started their career at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Resort & Towers as the Deputy Director of Sales from 2002 to 2004. Tarabout then moved to Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers, where they worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing, effectively maximizing revenue opportunities and improving the image of the sales team. In 2008, Yves joined Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel as the Executive Assistant Manager, overseeing Sales & Marketing, Event Sales, and Rooms Division. Their efforts led to increased hotel positioning and revenue growth, making it the highest fee-generating property for Starwood in the EAME division. Yves continued their career growth within the Sheraton brand and became the Deputy General Manager at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts from 2011 to 2015. Tarabout then served as the General Manager at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort, achieving high guest experience ratings and revenue growth. Yves subsequently took the role of Multi Property General Manager at Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort and Le Meridien Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort in 2017, where they successfully led a Clustering Project, reducing headcount, creating synergies, and implementing cost-saving measures. Tarabout also initiated the renovation project of Le Meridien Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort. Yves then joined Sheraton Mall of the Emirates as the General Manager from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Operations Uptown District at DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) since 2022. Yves Tarabout has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction throughout their career.

Tarabout Yves received a Master's degree in Hotel Management from Institut Vatel Paris between 1992 and 1996.
