Frieda van der Merwe

Frieda Van Der Merwe started their career as an HR Manager at Saab Grintek Technologies in 1994 and continued in that role until 2002. Frieda Van Der then moved on to become an HC Manager at PwC South Africa from 2005 to 2008. Following that, Frieda served as an HR Manager at HLG from 2008 to 2012. Frieda Van Der then joined Al Habtoor Leighton Group as an HR Manager, where they were responsible for various HR functions and played a key role in supporting regional business objectives and strategy. Since 2012, Frieda has been working as the Director of HR at Dubai Refreshment P.J.S.C. - Pepsi Cola Bottler, overseeing a team of 26 staff members and managing a wide range of human resource management activities to maximize organizational capabilities.

Frieda Van Der Merwe attended Centurion from 1983 to 1987, earning a Grade 12 degree. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied Political Science and Government.
