Karem Mahmoud

Karem Mahmoud has extensive work experience in legal and compliance roles. Karem started their career at Emirates Computers as a Legal Manager, where they provided legal counsel and support to ensure adherence to legal guidelines. Karem then moved on to Dubai Refreshment P.J.S.C. - Pepsi Cola Bottler, where they served as the Director of Legal and Compliance and later as the Director of Legal, Compliance, and Company Secretary. In these roles, Karem successfully managed contract operations, ensured compliance with laws and regulations, and promoted corporate governance. Additionally, they orchestrated board meetings, prepared agendas and minutes, and produced annual governance and ESG reports. Before entering the corporate sector, Karem worked as a Lawyer at the Beirut Bar Association in Lebanon, where they handled regulatory compliance, governance, and various legal matters such as litigation, arbitration, and corporate law.

Karem Mahmoud attended Beirut Arab University's Faculty of law from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law.
