Ovidiu Sabou

Ovidiu Sabou serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Dubizzle Group since June 2018 and holds a similar position at Sector Labs since July 2016, where efforts focus on enhancing real estate portals. Prior experience includes a role as Software Architect at Yonder from July 2010 to June 2016, where modern architectures were designed for matured solutions. Ovidiu also contributed as a Senior Developer, developing a Silverlight client and document indexing portals. As a Co-founder and back-end developer at AnswerJoy from October 2008 to June 2010, Ovidiu developed a browser-based educational quiz platform using Erlang. Earlier experience includes software development for 3D graphics at Nethrom. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Intelligent Systems and a BSc in Computer Science, both from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca. Extensive knowledge in web-oriented technologies such as Python, Java, and JavaScript has been applied throughout the career.
