Matthew Semple has a diverse work experience in the field of education and financial services. Matthew started their career at the Bank of Ireland as an Information Management Developer, where they were responsible for supporting management information systems and data integrity. Matthew then joined the University of Bristol, where they held multiple roles, including Student Systems Officer, Systems Development/Implementation Manager, and Student Funding Manager. During their time at Bristol, Matthew managed various projects and implemented systems to improve student administration processes and financial support. Currently, they work as the Deputy Lead for Design & Configuration in the SIS Programme at Dublin City University.
Matthew Semple's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick, which they completed from 1993 to 1996. Matthew then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in English and Drama at the same university, completing it in 1997.
