Drew Townsend

Andrew Townsend is a seasoned banking executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as President & CEO at Dubuque Bank and Trust since September 2022, Andrew oversees the commercial banking team in the Dubuque market. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of EVP, Commercial Banking at FirstBank & Trust from April 2020 to September 2022, managing commercial banking operations for a West Texas member bank. Andrew's career also includes significant tenure at Heartland Financial USA, Inc., as EVP and Chief Credit Officer from January 2013 to April 2020, and as EVP and Chief Credit Officer at Galena State Bank & Trust from May 2003 to January 2013. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Iowa State University in 1988.
