John Pinard has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently the Vice President of IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity at DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. Prior to this, they served as an Advisory Board Member at Humint, where they focused on recruitment, mentorship, and development. John also held a position as an Advisory Board Member and Cyber Security Speaker at siberX, where they provided insight into digital strategies and online community deployment. John has also worked as the Vice President of Information Technology at the United Jewish Appeal of Greater Toronto and as the Chief Information Officer at the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority. John has experience in research and advisory services as the Director of Research & Executive Advisor at Info-Tech Research Group. Previously, John held positions in Chartwell Retirement Residences as the Senior Director of Information Systems, in Forefront Technologies Inc. as the President, and in Purdue Pharma as the Director of Information Technology. In these roles, they managed teams, budgets, and implemented various IT projects.
John Pinard has a diploma in Computer Programming and Analysis from Seneca Polytechnic. John also attended McMaster University Continuing Education, where they studied Managing IT Projects in the field of Information Technology. John participated in the CPA Executive Program, focusing on The Optimal Negotiator. Additionally, they attended a Contracts Management Workshop at 4 Degrees North, LLC.
