Ross MacDonald is a seasoned professional in habitat management and agriculture, currently serving as a Conservation Programs Specialist at Ducks Unlimited Canada since April 2021. The role involves land management, waterfowl habitat enhancement, and conservation easement monitoring. As President of 98 Ranch Inc. since 2001, Ross operates a working ranch focused on regenerative practices with Hereford and Angus cattle. Ross has also contributed as a speaker for Young Agrarians, discussing land access for new entrants. Previous consultancy roles include work with the Water Security Agency on grazing management and habitat conservation, as well as developing business plans for cattle production with multiple organizations.
