Alek Kreiger is an experienced geospatial developer with a focus on wetland and waterfowl conservation at Ducks Unlimited since May 2014. Kreiger has held various positions including geographic information systems analyst, GIS/RS specialist, and GIS intern, where responsibilities included developing custom geoprocessing tools, automating workflows, managing spatial data, and producing cartographic designs. Prior experience includes serving as a caretaker at the University of Michigan's Stinchfield Woods, as a contractor with the US Fish and Wildlife Service conducting fish community surveys, and interning in natural areas management. Kreiger holds a Master of Science in Conservation Ecology and Environmental Informatics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Wilkes University.
