Dan Thiel

Dan Thiel is an experienced executive currently serving as Executive Secretary for Ducks Unlimited and COO of Wetlands America Trust since 2000. Prior to this role, Dan Thiel was Vice President for Alumni and Development at The University of Memphis, where oversight was provided for the university's alumni association and fundraising initiatives, leading a team of 50 professionals from January 1998 to August 2000. Earlier career experience includes serving as Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Purdue University from 1985 to 1989. Dan Thiel holds a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from Indiana State University and has completed graduate work in Archaeology at Purdue University.
