Galen Johnson

Galen Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Galen started their career as a police officer with the Illinois State Police in 1969 and served in that role until 1998. During this time, they also served as the Eastern Region Director for the Airborne Law Enforcement Association from 1982 to 1986. In 1999, Johnson transitioned into the real estate industry and worked as a realtor for Snelling - Chevalier Real Estate until 2006. Galen then joined ReMax Professionals as a realtor from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, Johnson started their own company, Johnson Real Estate, where they served as the Managing Broker/Owner. Galen held this position until at least 2021. In 2007 and 2008, Johnson also served as a Director for the Illinois State Police Federal Credit Union. Additionally, Johnson has held various leadership positions within Ducks Unlimited, including Board Member, Regional Vice President for Region Five, and State Chairman and Treasurer for Illinois Ducks Unlimited. Johnson also served as a Director for the Capital Area Realtors from 2014 to 2017.

Galen Johnson attended the University of Illinois Springfield from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Management with a focus on Organizational Management.
