Leslie Merritt, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University in 2007. Following that, they held various roles at Kappa Delta Sorority, including Chapter Services Manager, Senior Chapter Services Manager, and Director of Chapter Services. In these positions, they oversaw the day-to-day operations of multiple Kappa Delta chapters, supervised chapter development consultants, and developed programming for academic excellence and member education. In 2014, Leslie joined Ducks Unlimited as a Development Operations Manager before transitioning to the role of Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Middle Tennessee State University in 2016. Currently, Leslie serves as the Director of Development Operations at Ducks Unlimited, where they oversee database management systems, provide training to the development team, and track major sponsor data points with international partners and state campaign committees. In 2023, Leslie will also assume the role of Chief Panhellenic Officer at Kappa Delta Sorority.

Leslie Merritt, Ed.D., pursued their education chronologically starting with a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2003 to 2007. Leslie then went on to earn a Master of Education - M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from MTSU from 2007 to 2008. Currently, Leslie Merritt is pursuing a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
