Shawn Battison

Shawn Battison has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several industries. Starting in 1998, they served as the General Manager for Buckeye Game Club until 2000. Shawn then transitioned to Marshview Retrievers, where they were the Owner & Trainer for five years. In 2003, they became the General Manager of Quail Ridge Sportsman's Club, LLC for two years. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as the Managing Director for The Fork, LLC, The Fork Stables, LLC, and Fork Horse Trials, LLC. In 2008, they joined Ducks Unlimited as a Regional Director and later held positions as the Director of Development, Sr. Director of Development of Major Gifts - AL/FL/GA, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Development. Additionally, in 2017, they co-founded and served as the CFO of For The Paws Rescue INC until 2020.

Shawn Battison attended Kent State University from 1990 to 1994, studying Pre-Vet/Conservation. Later, from 1995 to 1998, they pursued a degree in Wildlife Management at The Ohio State University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
