Jos Polfliet

Jos Polfliet is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as Chief Architect at Duco since April 2024 and as a Lecturer for the Master in Business Analytics and AI at Vlerick Business School since October 2022, focusing on Natural Language Processing. Previously, Jos founded Metamaze and held the role of Chief Technology Officer from September 2020 to April 2024. Jos has also contributed significantly to the AI community as Founder and main contributor of pandas-profiling, recognized as one of the Top 20 ML packages by Google. Earlier career positions include VP of Applied AI and Head of Machine Learning at Faktion, as well as various roles at SAS and AXA. Jos holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Ghent University, earned between 2008 and 2013.
