Dr. Udo Jung

Dr. Udo Jung is a Senior Advisor and Senior Partner & Managing Director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), with over three decades of experience since joining in October 1990. In addition to their role at BCG, Dr. Jung serves as an Investor and Advisor for multiple innovative companies, including Qualifyze, which specializes in supplier audits for the pharmaceutical industry, and Greenlyte Carbon Technologies, focused on direct air capture of CO2. Other ventures involve investments and advisory roles in C1 Green Chemicals AG, a leader in green methanol production, DUDE CHEM, advancing sustainable synthesis in pharmaceuticals, Again, a carbon negative chemical manufacturer, and Dunia, innovating autonomous labs for materials discovery. Dr. Jung has been involved with NTRDE, APK AG, and has contributed to the circular economy in polymer recycling. Academic credentials include a Diplom-Kaufmann and a doctorate in Business Administration from The Philipp University of Marburg, along with research experience as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
