Zeph Friedman-Sowder

Zeph Friedman-Sowder possesses extensive experience in environmental science and geographic information systems, with a current role as an Environmental Scientist and Certified Erosion and Sediment Control LEAD at Dudek since June 2022. Responsibilities include conducting geospatial analyses, inspecting erosion and sediment barriers, and performing turbidity water testing. Previous positions include serving as an Environmental Scientist and GIS Analyst at WSP, where collaborative analyses rated wetlands and assessed Marbled Murrelet habitats. Additional roles involved conducting forest carbon inventories, performing wildlife monitoring, and engaging in regulatory clearance for threatened species across various environmental projects. Zeph holds a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Oregon State University.
